Floating Floor Installation Policy

At Home & Office Floors and Remodeling, we take pride in our commitment to quality and professionalism in the installation of floating floors. When performing the installation process, we ensure that the floors are installed with the utmost care and expertise. However, it's important to note that due to the nature of floating floor installations, we cannot guarantee that the surface will be 100% flat or level.

Policy Details:

  1. Best Effort and Expertise: Our team will make every effort and utilize our professional expertise to achieve the best possible outcome in terms of floor levelness during the installation process.

  2. Limitations of Floating Floors: Floating floors are designed to accommodate slight irregularities in the subfloor. While we will employ various techniques to ensure a level surface, certain imperfections or irregularities may still exist due to the characteristics of the subfloor or the nature of the floating floor system.

  3. Customer Awareness: It's important for our customers to be aware that perfect levelness might not be attainable due to factors beyond our control, such as the subfloor condition, pre-existing irregularities, or environmental factors.

  4. Pre-Installation Assessment: Before installation, our team will conduct an assessment of the area to identify any significant issues that might affect the levelness of the floor. We'll communicate any notable concerns to the customer prior to installation.

Disclaimer:

Please note that while we strive to provide the best possible installation, we cannot guarantee an entirely flat or level surface. Our responsibility is to install the flooring to the best of our ability, considering industry standards and the limitations of the chosen floating floor system.

Customer Cooperation:

We encourage open communication with our customers regarding any concerns they might have during the installation process. This helps us address any potential issues and ensures a better understanding of the expected outcome.

This policy is intended to manage expectations and ensure transparency regarding the limitations of achieving a completely flat surface with floating floor installations.

This policy sets clear expectations for customers regarding the limitations and variables associated with floating floor installations, ensuring transparency and managing expectations effectively. Adjustments can be made as per specific business practices or legal requirements.

Behavioral Conduct Policy

At Home & Office Floors, we are committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all our employees. We strive to maintain professional and courteous interactions with our clients. In cases where a customer engages in behavior that is hostile, abusive, or otherwise unacceptable, we reserve the right to terminate the contract or discontinue services without further notice.

Examples of such behavior include, but are not limited to:

  • Verbal or written abuse, including the use of profanity, threats, or derogatory language towards our staff members.

  • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or intimidation.

  • Intentional damage to property or intentional disruption of our operations.

Process for Termination:

  1. Warning: In cases where a customer's behavior is deemed inappropriate, a warning may be issued, providing an opportunity for the customer to rectify their conduct.

  2. Review and Evaluation: If the behavior persists despite the warning, the situation will be reviewed and evaluated by the management to determine the appropriate course of action.

  3. Termination of Contract: If the behavior continues or escalates without improvement, we reserve the right to terminate the contract and discontinue services.

Please Note:

  • Any termination will be carried out with the utmost consideration for fairness and will be communicated to the client in writing.

  • The decision to terminate a contract due to behavioral conduct will be at the discretion of the company and will be final.

This policy is in place to ensure a safe and respectful working environment for our employees and clients. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in upholding these standards.
